Behrooz Karimi, known as "Pristo", was born on March 22, 1955, in Abadan and is one of the most prominent magicians in Iran and the world. He is widely recognized as the "Father of Iranian Magic." Fascinated by magic since childhood, he gave his first performance at the age of eight in his hometown without any formal training. At 14, he moved to Kuwait, where he began working in an international circus and adopted the stage name "Pristo." Major Achievements • Second Place in World Comedy Magic: In 1991, at the World Festival of Magicians in Switzerland—attended by David Copperfield—he won second place in the comedy magic category. • Member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians: He joined the organization in 1973 and has maintained close ties with renowned magicians worldwide ever since. • Translator of "The Secrets of Houdini": He translated this book into Persian to help promote the art of magic in Iran.
